The objective of our annual West Coast Finance Hive Meeting is to bring senior buy side decision makers on the West Coast together and build a stronger community to facilitate collaboration. As custodians of this network, we will provide an opportunity to compare approaches to some of the more frustrating trading desk decisions with your direct peers.
Recent events mean we’re unable to meet in person on April 23rd, but instead we are pleased to be hosting an entirely virtual session. Now more than ever we understand the importance of learning and participating in peer-group discussion. We want to continue to seize this opportunity to collaborate, share insights, and host meaningful dialogue.
The session will consist of virtual roundtable discussions – the themes of which are proposed by the buy side who join and topics suggested so far include the next generation of trade analytics, algo selection and benchmarking, streamlining workflow in FX, attracting top talent to the West Coast and optimizing the back office.
The meeting was great and it was my pleasure to be involved with it. The model is more meaningful, ie. buyside / vendor and the content was much more fruitful than other industry events.
