More extensive and sophisticated technology, the growth of automation, waves of regulation and an increasing demand to operate in a multi-asset environment mean that The responsibilities of buy side heads of trading all over the world are continuing to evolve at a rapid pace.

With few resources, and heavier demands than ever before, the buy side has a great need for tools across the entire workflow of the trading desk.

To help heads of trading navigate their way through all this change and pressure, and identify the tools, services and people that can genuinely help, the Finance Hive is delighted to announce our first buy side member meeting in Sweden, which will take place on Tuesday 5 March 2019 at The Brewery in Stockholm.

Interactive discussion is facilitated for 70 hand-picked global and regional heads of trading from the largest and most sophisticated buy side firms from across the Nordic region. Conversations will centre around current challenges, future trends and the impact of regulation and technology on the buy side trading desk.

Attendance is by invitation only and limited to decision makers from leading buy side firms and carefully selected partners that have been recommended by our members. Held on an off the record basis with a strict no-press policy, the meeting creates an informal and relaxed forum of discussion among industry leaders with shared concerns and priorities.

In addition to raising and addressing day-to-day issues, The Finance Hive will serve to build a collective voice for the buy side FX industry in the region and find intelligent and innovative ways to improve solutions around liquidity, best execution, automation and market structure to drive excellence across the sector.
